Survey of Telephone Calls Received in a Singapore Public Hospital Clinical Laboratory

Objective: Our objective is to determine the total burden of telephone calls, reasons for calling the laboratory and to identify opportunities for intervention and improvement. Methods: A retrospective, cross-sectional study was done using data from the telephone recorder over 14 days in January 2018. We identified the type and number of calls, duration of calls and call locations
