ABOUT JOURNAL

SF Journal of Clinical Case Reports focuses on clinically important cases that provide meaningful insights into diagnosis, treatment, disease presentation, complications, or patient management. The journal provides a forum for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to communicate unusual, challenging, or educational clinical experiences that may contribute to broader medical understanding.

The journal covers cases involving uncommon diseases, atypical clinical presentations, diagnostic challenges, rare complications, unusual treatment responses, emerging clinical observations, multidisciplinary management, and clinically significant findings across medical and healthcare specialties. Particular value is placed on cases that provide useful diagnostic, therapeutic, or educational lessons.

The journal welcomes case reports, case series, clinical images, diagnostic reports, brief clinical communications, and other case-based scholarly manuscripts of scientific or educational value. Case Report: Aortic Valve Replacement due to Aortic Valve Leaflet Perforation after PCI

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is widely recognized as an effective treatment for Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Inspite of advances in equipment and experience of interventional cardiologist, still there are rare complications occurred [1]. Iatrogenic injury of the aortic valve leaflet is a rare. Aortic Insufficiency (AI) after a PCI suggests an iatrogenic valve injury. Aortic leaflet injury is not common but possible complication of PCI.

Trends of Pregnancy Outcomes from 2013 to 2017 at a Primary Health Care Facility in Durban, South Africa

Background: Maternal and child health is a priority in low- and middle-income countries including South Africa. Despite efforts taken to optimize pregnancy outcomes nationally and locally, higher than expected incidences of maternal and perinatal mortality are observed. This study measured the trends of demographic and delivery outcomes from 2013 to 2017 of a Midwife run Obstetric Unit setting.

Glass Foreign Body in the Jugular Foramen: Surgery versus Conservative Management

Introduction: Head and neck foreign bodies are common secondary to penetrating trauma. However, there is not much published literature on foreign body lodged in the jugular foramen. There does not appear to be any agreement on treatment of such a foreign body. Aims: To share our experience of successful management of a patient with glass foreign body lodged in his jugular foramen.
