ABOUT JOURNAL

SF Journal of Dentistry focuses on research and clinical developments across dentistry, oral healthcare, and dental science. The journal provides a platform for dentists, oral healthcare professionals, researchers, and clinicians to share evidence that contributes to improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term management of oral and dental conditions.

The journal covers areas including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontology, endodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine, oral pathology, implant dentistry, preventive dentistry, dental materials, dental public health, oral microbiology, digital dentistry, and advances in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.

The journal welcomes all types of scholarly manuscripts relevant to dentistry, including original research, review articles, systematic reviews, clinical studies, case reports, case series, diagnostic studies, laboratory investigations, methodological contributions, brief reports, and other scientifically valuable work. Case Report

Management of Severe Periodontitis in Hemodialysis Patient: A Case Report

A chronic kidney disease or chronic renal failure is a progressive loss of renal functions; which can lead to several systemic complications and oral manifestations such as the periodontitis. This article describes a case report of a 28-year-old female hemodialysis patient presented generalized severe aggressive periodontitis. The therapy phase included oral hygiene instruction, periodontal treatment and extraction of teeth with hopeless prognosis, with the collaboration of her nephrologist doctor.
