ABOUT JOURNAL

SF Journal of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is devoted to research addressing mental health, psychiatric disorders, human behavior, and the factors that influence psychological and emotional well-being. The journal seeks to encourage a broad understanding of mental health through clinical, biological, psychological, and social perspectives.

Its scientific interests include psychiatric disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, behavioral conditions, neuropsychiatry, psychological assessment, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, substance-related disorders, child and adolescent mental health, geriatric psychiatry, and psychosocial influences on health. Research examining prevention, early intervention, treatment outcomes, mental health services, and behavioral approaches to improving well-being is also encouraged.

The journal welcomes all types of scholarly manuscripts relevant to psychiatry and behavioral health. Contributions from psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroscientists, clinicians, researchers, and allied professionals are encouraged, fostering multidisciplinary discussion and the advancement of evidence-informed approaches to mental and behavioral healthcare.

The Sensitivity of Preference for Chastity and Sexual Jealousy to Mate Fertility and Paternal Investment in Men

Over the last 100 years, there has been a huge change in human mating strategies. Some examples are equal right legislations of women, the invention of birth control, and changes in sex division of labor [1]. Some mate preferences are known to have cross-cultural consistency and they have shown stability over time [2]. For instance, preferences for beauty and youth are highly rated by men, while women, in different cultures seek resources in a potential mate.

Over-Exposure to Self-Disclosing Information on Social Media: The Role of "Stories"

Social media expansion is taking place increasingly and seems inevitable. Social networks are so dynamic and changing every day thus should be studied due to these changes. In this paper, we focus our attention on the role that stories may play in people's over-exposure to user-created content on social media and the probable mediator factors and mechanisms may contribute.

The Association between Social Media, Depression and Life Satisfaction among Young

The current study examines the relationship between social networks in outbreaks of depression and life satisfaction. The population of the study was the married students of Islamic Azad University of Sari in which 379 people were selected as the sample by using stratified simple random sampling method. The research method was descriptive and correlational.
